Bahrain committed to boosting UK partnership

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to advancing the Bahrain-UK partnership across various sectors to achieve mutual aspirations.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that joint visits and agreements have consolidated the multisector bilateral collaboration currently in place.
This came as HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister met yesterday with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Alastair Long, at Gubaibiya Palace.
The Deputy King affirmed that longstanding relations between Bahrain and the UK are based on solid foundations and strategic partnerships.
During the meeting, the latest regional and global developments were discussed, in which both parties affirmed that security and peace are the basis of development. The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, His Excellency Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, attended the meeting.
