MoH honours GCC award  winning website team

Minister of Health Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh received the team of the Ministry’s website, congratulating them on their winning the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) eGovernment Award and conveyed to them the compliments of the Deputy Premier and President of the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology (SCICT) Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.

The Ministry of Health (MoH)’s official website won the prestigious award as the best governmental website.

The Minister expressed her pride in MoH’s winning of the award during the GCC E-Government Conference recently hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain’s E-Government Authority (EGA) with participation of GCC countries, under the patronage of Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

She said this outstanding accomplishment could not have been made by the Health Ministry without the ambitious vision and wise directives as well as unlimited support from the Kingdom’s leadership. The Minister added that the leadership has always given special attention and keenness on the information and communication technology sector regarding the adoption of electronic transformation in the various services sectors to boost the services provided to citizens.

The Minister has expressed gratitude and appreciation to the team of the Ministry’s website in particular for their remarkable efforts which contributed in the Ministry’s meritorious winning of this award.

The Minister urged the team to put more efforts in all electronic services provided by the Health Ministry to continue to achieve excellence and be at the forefront.
