‘Vigilant Eyes and Strong Hands of the Nation’; Interior Minister
HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, attended the Ministry of Interior (MOI) celebration to mark Bahrain Police Day, extending congratulations on behalf of MOI affiliates to HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on the occasion of Bahrain National Day and HM the King’s Accession Day.
During the event, HE the Minister emphasized the royal support aimed at enhancing the civilizational and social role of the Bahrain Police and strengthening its contribution to community security. He highlighted the government’s continued backing, as directed by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the Ministry’s future projects and ensure ongoing development and security readiness.
HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa affirmed the importance of loyalty and dedication within the Ministry, stating that its reputation must be protected and upheld. He described the responsibilities of police personnel not just as job duties, but as a national trust and a humanitarian mission, praising their dedication across various situations.
Addressing the personnel, he said: “We face huge responsibilities that only the devoted can shoulder, and you have proven yourselves worthy of this trust. Your dedication safeguards the nation’s prosperity and well-being, which came at a high cost, through steadfastness, discipline, and sincere determination.”
He also highlighted the growing role of technology in policing, describing information technology as both a challenge and an opportunity to enhance security operations.
The Interior Minister concluded by honoring the martyrs of duty, calling them heroes of security and a symbol of loyalty and dedication. He praised all MOI personnel as “the vigilant eyes, sincere hearts, and strong hands upon which the nation is built,” wishing them continued success and divine blessings for their efforts.
