GAL, AMMROC and Fulcrum Expand Partnership to Boost Regional Defense Readiness

Global Aerospace Logistics (GAL), AMMROC, and defense technology firm Fulcrum have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership, formalized at the Dubai Airshow. The three companies aim to strengthen regional military capabilities through modernized aircraft and advanced technical support.

Originally signed in March 2024, the tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focuses on improving rotary-wing aircraft programs for UAE and regional military clients. The partnership combines GAL’s integrated defense services, AMMROC’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) expertise, and Fulcrum’s specialized engineering solutions to provide a complete fleet enhancement package.

The expanded agreement will cover:

• Aircraft upgrades and modernization – including engineering, airworthiness, and testing support for programs such as CLAW and L-Model Armed Black Hawk upgrades.

• Advanced weapons systems – converting GAU-19A guns to the improved GAU-19B, supplying spare parts, and managing repair and warranty services. GAL will also distribute the GAU-18 to non-JAC entities.

• Training and technical transfer – developing and delivering armament-related courses, including the JAC Group-18 Training program, to strengthen local skills and knowledge.
