Bahrain prioritises innovation for safer communities, criminal justice reform

Security is an essential pillar of development, which requires a safe environment to achieve its set goals. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, highlighted the importance of continuing to develop the Ministry of Interior’s services and adopting the latest practices and modern technology aimed at enhancing community security and the development of the criminal justice system.

HRH Prince Salman made the statements as he hosted yesterday an iftar banquet for senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Interior, at the Public Security Officers’ Club. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the significant contributions of the Ministry of Interior and its role as an integral part of Team Bahrain, working towards advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

His Royal Highness affirmed the ministry’s pivotal role and the efforts of its personnel in safeguarding public security, preserving rights, and enforcing the law. He commended the Kingdom’s advanced security efforts, as well as the achievements of the Ministry of Interior and its agencies.

In this regard, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his gratitude to the Minister of Interior, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the ministry’s personnel. Royal support On behalf of the Ministry of Interior personnel, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister for his support for Interior Ministry personnel.

The Minister wished His Royal Highness success in furthering the Kingdom’s development, under the leadership of HM King Hamad. He affirmed that the ministry is continuing its advancement within its modernisation strategy by increasing the competence of its personnel.
