The workshop delved into various aspects of utilizing AI to improve addiction recovery rates, encompassing security, health, and behavioural perspectives. Discussions covered AI-powered recovery capabilities, challenges faced in Arab countries, and the potential misuse of AI for criminal purposes. Additionally, experts explored themes of innovation in AI and capacity building for its responsible application.

This groundbreaking project signifies Bahrain’s commitment to leveraging technological advancements to tackle the critical issue of drug addiction. By harnessing the power of AI, the Kingdom aims to empower individuals on their recovery journeys and bolster national efforts to combat this prevalent challenge.
