Modern Exchange opens new branch in Bahrain
Modern Exchange Company, which launched its operations in Bahrain in May this year, opened its sixth branch at Bab Al Bahrain in Manama.
The branch was formally dedicated to its customers yesterday by Abdulla Esam Fakhro, a Director of the company. Speaking at the launch, Fakhro said, “We are overwhelmed by the response that we have received from customers in the last six months. Our ability to credit beneficiary accounts instantly and our unique customer friendly features such as Free Life Insurance to all remitters, attractive Loyalty Programme and SMS notifications at both ends, have endeared us to our customers.”
“Encouraged by this huge response and in our endeavour to take these value propositions to more and more people, we are expanding fast and will soon be opening branches at Askar Labour Camp, Souk Waqif in Hamad Town, Bengali Market in Manama and also at Um Al Hassam,” the director added.
“We are also in the process of launching an online remittance facility as well as self-service kiosks at our branches to bring ease of use and further convenience to our customers,” Fakhro weighed in.
Speaking on the occasion, Modern Exchange Co GM Richhpal Singh said, “At Modern Exchange, we also believe in adding more value to your remittances. The K S Chithra-and-Vidhu Prathap musical concert organised by Modern Exchange on November 16 exclusively and free for all its customers and attended by over 9000, customers and their families, was one such attempt by the company.”
“We have planned a series of such innovative and customer friendly propositions for our dear customers in all remittance corridors, going forward,” he added.
