Police arrest 25 for violating public morals in Bahrain

A massive combing operation has resulted in the arrest of 25 men and women, all implicated in engaging in activities that violate public morals in public places and on social media channels.
The Central Investigation Department’s (CID) Anti-human Trafficking and the Protection of Public Morals Directorate said the arrests followed investigation into multiple cases registered against the suspects.
Police said based on the tip-offs received, they formed an investigation team and managed to locate and identify the suspects.
The suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action, and officials have encouraged citizens and residents to report any complaints regarding similar incidents on the hotline (555) at any time of day.
