HM King Hamad sends letter to Egyptian President on regional issues

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a letter to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.

It was delivered by Advisor to HM the King for Diplomatic Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.

President Al Sisi received in Cairo yesterday Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed, who conveyed to him the greetings of HM the King and his best wishes of more growth and prosperity for Egypt.

The Egyptian leader asked Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed to convey his greetings and best wishes to HM the King, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries.

He also praised the fraternal stances of the Kingdom of Bahrain in continuously supporting Egypt.

HM the King’s Advisor voiced Bahrain’s appreciation of strong fraternal ties binding it with Egypt and the steady growth of bilateral relations in various fields.

He also lauded growing cooperation between both countries, praising the pivotal and strategic role of Egypt in promoting pan-Arab work and fostering regional security and stability.

The meeting shed light on the latest regional developments as well as regional and international issues of common interest.
