September was the sixth warmest for Bahrain since 1902, with the highest temperature being 46°C and the lowest 24.9°C for the month.

The maximum temperature was at Bahrain International Circuit on the 3rd of September 2021 and the lowest at Durrat Al Bahrain on the 23rd of last month.

The data is as per the monthly report by the Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

According to the data, the average monthly temperature for September was 33.9°C, an increase of 0.7°C compared to the general average for September.

Average maximum temperature 37.8°C

The highest monthly average temperature of September is 34.8°C recorded in the year 2020.

The average maximum temperature last month was 37.8°C, an increase of 0.1°C compared to the general average.

The highest monthly average maximum temperature for September of 39.8°C occurred in 2020.

40°C in first four days

The maximum temperature reached more than 40°C during the first four days last month.

The highest temperature at Bahrain International Airport was 42.3°C -recorded on the 4th of September.

The average monthly minimum temperature for September was 30.9°C, up 1.4°C compared to the general average.

The reading is the sixth-highest average minimum temperature since 1946.

The highest monthly average minimum temperature for September was 31.5°C recorded in 2015.

The lowest temperature at Bahrain International Airport was 27.6°C on the 29th of last month. For Durrat Al Bahrain, the lowest was 24.9°C on the 23rd of last month.
