Bahrain among Egypt’s top friendly countries
Egyptians consider Bahrain to be one of the friendliest countries to Egypt, a survey revealed.
Among 26 countries, Bahrain is considered by Egyptians as the third friendliest country to Egypt according to an opinion poll conducted by the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera).
Basheera used a sample of 1551 citizens aged 18 and above across the country to come to this conclusion. Saudi Arabia was voted as the top friendliest country while Kuwait came second and Bahrain, Sudan, Oman, Tunisia and Morocco followed. In ninth place was China, which is the top ranking non-Arab country in the list. Russia closely followed in 10th place.
"The positive rating of Saudi Arabia was the highest amongst respondents with less than university education and those aged over 50. China was the highest ranking non-Arab country, coming in ninth place," Basheera said in a statement.
Israel was voted as the most hostile as "different categories of respondents showing very much the same reaction to Israel". USA, Iran, Turkey, Qatar and Denmark were in the list of hostile nations.
