Electricity Minister praises MPs’ efforts in serving citizens

Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs Eng Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak received Representatives Council member MP Adel Abdulrahman Al Assoumi and discussed with him issues related to the electricity and water sector. The minister reviewed future plans and projects of the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) and its main achievements brought about recently.
The meeting also shed light on ways of boosting cooperation between EWA and the Representatives Council. The minister lauded the efforts of MPs in tackling issues aimed at serving citizens, in cooperation with the executive branch.
He also voiced keenness on achieving citizens’ aspirations and optimising services for them, in line with the directives of His Majesty the King to bolster cooperation between the legislative and executive branches. Al Assoumi praised the efforts made by EWA to improve electricity and water services and stressed the importance of continuous cooperation to improve them for citizens and residents.
