Amlak establishes support fund for impacted tenants

TDT | Manama

Amlak Social Insurance Organisation Development Company, the real-estate arm of the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO), announced the creation of a Half-a-Million Support Fund, which will financially support their impacted tenants.

This is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to support the Kingdom’s financial and economic conditions due to the current global situation.

The fund offers multiple schemes and is aimed towards bringing market stability. This is based on market studies and the category of each tenant. The types of support will vary based on monthly assessments and will be activated immediately. “Amlak’s Support Fund aims at relieving the financial strains the tenants and community shops, which will reflect positively on the consumers, residents and the citizens of our beloved Kingdom,” said Amlak CEO Yusuf Al Thawadi.
