Team Bahrain role lauded

The Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has welcomed the praise by Gulf ministers and the Arab Monetary Fund over Bahrain’s achievements in implementing the Fiscal Balance Programme’s initiatives in line with its established timeframes.

The Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, the Minister of Finance of the State of Kuwait, Dr Nayef bin Falah Al Hajraf, the Assistant Minister for International Financial Affairs and Macro Fiscal Policies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz Al Rasheed have praised the results achieved thus far, and noted the determination of Government authorities to achieve the initiatives thoroughly.

Shaikh Salman said that the progress was accomplished by Team Bahrain, who worked as one team comprising members from the executive and legislative branches and from the public and private sectors.

Team Bahrain has steadily and dedicatedly endeavored to accomplish achievements that elevate the status of the Kingdom, fulfilling the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and benefit the citizens, he added.
