Govt keen on ties with pvt sector: PM

Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa underlined the government’s keenness to deepen cooperation with the relevant trade and economic sides and discuss with them means to ensure the sustainable growth of those sectors. He also stressed the importance of strengthening the existing partnership between the government and the private sector amid the current regional circumstances.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister underscored the crucial role played by the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) in strengthening the pillars of the national economy.
Prince Khalifa was speaking in a meeting with the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs President, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa, royal family members and senior state officials at Gudaibiya Palace here yesterday.
He discussed with them the regional situation and the state of insecurity currently witnesses by some countries and their effects on economic growth.
