‘Bahrain Red Carpet’ opens tonight, features prominent designers

A glamorous Fashion show and Designers Exhibition, ‘Bahrain Red Carpet’ opens tonight at the Sheraton Hotel, Bahrain. The show will run until 11th of May and is presented by Sheikha Noora Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of Medpoint. The Fashion show which will be staged for VVIP and VIP guests from Bahrain and Saudi Arabia tonight will be followed with an exhibition on 11 of May for professional and aspiring designers to exhibit and their collections on the Red Carpet.

Sheikha Noora Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the exhibition, told Tribune, “We are hosting the Red Carpet to support the Bahraini and Gulf designers.”  The fair, which opens at the Sheraton Hotel in Bahrain at 8:30 pm, will be attended by 20 different parties and 10 international designers from inside and outside Bahrain. “The exhibition, held in the participation of the Tamkeen Labour Fund as a strategic partner, features prominent figures from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries,” Sheikha Noora said.

“In the previous editions, we have received audience from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and many other countries.” “We are expecting a great interaction of the public tonight and tomorrow.” Professor Nada Al Shomali, the organising partner of the event, said, “The ‘Red Carpet’ is an effort to build bridges of communication with the world.” “This year, the exhibition will feature unique costumes from the Gulf countries to welcome Ramadan, which will be characterised by extreme diversity and be blended with the brilliance of creativity and elegance.”
