Student passes CBSE Board Exams with flying colors months after father’s suicide
10th grader Shreya cleared the 2018-2019 CBSE Board Exams with 88% months after her father committed suicide in Bahrain.
Shreya and her sister were studying in Bahrain when her father committed suicide by hanging himself at his place of work. Her mother was in India with Shreya’s brother who was receiving treatment for cancer at the time.
Despite the hardships, young Shreya managed to excel in the 2018-2019 CBSE Board Exams.
Shreya and her sister continued to reside in Bahrain with the support provided by her friend Gauri and her family under the umbrella of the Indian Embassy, social workers and the management of the Indian School of Bahrain.
