Al Noor school honours Quran competition winners

Al Noor International School held a ceremony to honour the winners of the “Quran Recitation and Memorising” competition. Two Hundred and sixty students received prizes under different categories i.e. reciting surah by heart, for best voice and tajweed, during the event held on 28 November 2018.

The Guest of Honour, Dr Rashed Bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, Chairman of Sunni Waqf Council, Ministry of Justice & Islamic Affairs & Waqf, Sunni Waqf Directorate, Kingdom of Bahrain, handed out the prizes and certificates along with Ali Hasan, the school’s Founder Chairman.

Also present were the School Director Dr Muhammad Mashood, Principal Amin Mohammed Hulaiwah, as well as Head Teachers and staff members. A total of 4390 students participated in the competition, with 890 reaching the semifinal rounds.
