A special treat for Korean movie fans
The fifth edition of the Korean Film Festival will be organized by the Korean Embassy throughout the month of December. Korean movies will be screened at the Seef Cinema Complex in Seef Mall every Wednesday at 7 pm.
The 2018 film festival brings yet another exquisite bath of Korean films to the audience in Bahrain and lovers of foreign and Korean films, the embassy said.
It will start on December 5 with “As One”, starring Ha Jiwon and Bae Doona depicting the story of the Pingpong stars Hyun Jung-hwa of South Korea and Li Bun-hui of North Korea who forms a team and a friendship then their team is suddenly split up. On December 12, the second movie with the title “Along with the Gods I”, starring Ha Jung-woo and Cha Taehyun, will be shown.
The critically acclaimed and award winner movie narrates the story of three grim reapers who escort a man to the afterlife and decide his fate based on what he has done when he was alive.
