Telecommunication Company ‘Zain’ has certainly targeted the emotional stance of its viewers with their recently launched Ramadan ad campaign.

It features a young Arab boy, addressing some of the most powerful world leaders, with the highlight being on Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine. Whereas the Syrian refugee and Rohingya refugee crisis is also touched upon in powerful depiction of visuals and lyrics.

The three-minute ad features impersonations of Donald Trump, the President of the United States, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, Kim Jong-un, leader of North Korea and Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada. The ad has already gone viral with a million views since launching on the first day of Ramadan. Aimed at making a strong political statement, only time will tell how effective and far-reaching its impact will be.
