Police arrest 2 over Isa Town robbery
Manama : The Public Prosecution yesterday ordered to detain two men who were arrested on Monday for beating and robbing a man in Isa Town.
The suspects were accused by the prosecution of forced robbery as confirmed by Southern Governorate Chief Prosecutor Adnan Fahro in a press statement released yesterday.
The men were arrested few hours after a video that clearly shows their faces was widely circulated online while they beat and robbed a man.
Fakhro clarified in his statement that the suspects stole money and a mobile phone from the victim.
He added that the victim was examined by a coroner and the suspects were faced with the evidence of their conviction. “Legal procedures are continued to refer them to the concerned court,” the Chief Prosecutor said.
