ISB win under 14 championship
Manama : The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) has defeated the Rest of the School by 8 wickets in the final to lift the CBA-BOC Under 14 School Cricket Championship for boys at the National stadium. Batting first, the Rest of the School scored 73 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.
Chasing a total of 74 runs, the ISB reached the target in 12 overs to register a marvellous victory. ISB Vice Captain Adnan Khan bowled extremely well to take 3 wickets for just 9 runs. Adnan Khan was declared Man of the Match.
The Indian School felicitated the ISB cricket team members who won laurels for the school.
ISB Chairman Prince S Natarajan, Secretary Saji Antony, EC Members Rajesh Nambiar, Premalatha NS, Senior Section Vice Principal Anand R Nair, Middle Section Vice Principal Vinod Asari, Physical Education HoD Saikat Sarkar and Cricket Coach Mukunda Warrier were in attendance.
