Martyred Bahrain policeman laid to rest
Manama : The body of Salman Anjum, the policeman who was killed in Friday’s terrorist attack, was laid to rest at the Hunainiya graveyard in Riffa yesterday. Hundreds of people attended the funeral.
Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Hassan Al Hassan, members of the martyr’s relatives and friends, security officials, citizens and residents offered condolences to the family of the martyred policeman.
Salman Anjum was killed after a homemade bomb hidden on Khalifa Bin Salman Highway was remotely detonated by a group of terrorists targeting a police bus near Jidhafs. The terrorists also sprayed the bus with machine guns, resulting in the death of Anjum and injuring eight other policemen who were on board.
