Man Arrested in Bahrain for Harassing Children in Public Areas
The Ministry of Interior announced that a 67-year-old man has been arrested by the Child Protection in Cyberspace Unit at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic, and Electronic Security for exploiting and attempting to lure several children in public areas by offering them money.
According to the ministry, the suspect was identified after specialised teams investigated reports of the incidents and gathered the necessary evidence. Legal procedures were taken, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution.
The ministry emphasized the importance of parental supervision and building trust with children, encouraging them to report any harassment or exploitation.
