Bapco Highlights Support for Bahraini Women Leaders
On the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Supreme Council for Women, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, Acting Board Member of Bapco Energies and CEO of Bapco Refining, extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of the King and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Women.
Dr. Jawahery praised the Supreme Council for Women as a prominent national institution and a pioneering platform that supports the achievements of Bahraini women. He highlighted the Council’s role in advancing sustainable development and empowering women locally, regionally, and internationally, thanks to the visionary guidance of His Majesty the King.
“The Council places great importance on initiatives that provide Bahraini women with equal opportunities in healthcare, education, employment, and entrepreneurship, while shaping national policies that enhance their participation in social and economic development,” Dr. Jawahery said.
He also emphasized Bapco Energies’ commitment, particularly through Bapco Refining, to creating a supportive work environment that enables Bahraini women to assume leadership roles in the energy, oil, and gas sectors. This includes implementing policies that promote diversity, inclusion, and gender equality.
