HRH the Crown Prince Meets Newly Elected Bahraini Journalists Association Board
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today with Isa Al Shaiji, the newly elected Chairman of the Bahraini Journalists Association (BJA), along with members of the Association’s new Board, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman congratulated the Chairman and Board members on their election, praising the important role journalists play in the Kingdom’s progress. He highlighted that the national press is a vital part of Team Bahrain and a cornerstone of the country’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH stressed that the press holds a unique responsibility in promoting national values, raising social awareness, and presenting a balanced and purposeful narrative. He noted that responsible reporting helps empower citizens and strengthen Bahrain’s position across various fields.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister also emphasized the duty of the press to shed light on societal issues, encourage noble values, and showcase the Kingdom’s achievements, which reflect the determination and energy of the Bahraini people. He called for continued efforts to build on past successes through collective commitment and integrity.
For his part, BJA Chairman Isa Al Shaiji expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s ongoing support, noting that such encouragement inspires the press community to continue contributing to the Kingdom’s aspirations.
The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, along with senior officials.
