EGO in, printed business cards out
Manama : A new web-based solution, which aims to replace printed business cards, was launched in Bahrain yesterday.
The ‘EGO Smart Identity’ was developed in Australia and South Africa by Superdata. Bahrain was chosen as its head quarters for operations in the Middle East, North Africa and Pakistan.
The breakthrough technological concept was unveiled to media personnel and guests at an event yesterday at the Swiss Belhotel in Seef. Spearheading the launch, the Chairman and Board of Directors including Chairperson Suhair Ali M. Al Zowaid, Marketing and Investment Director Unnikrishnan Puravankara, Managing Director Lyn Al Haqbani and PR Director Hamad Salah Saleh, welcomed guests to the product presentation.
‘EGO Smart Identity’ which contains contact information, social media information and marketing content of the person, can be sent and shared via Whatsapp, SMS, Email, Bluetooth, airdrop, Facebook, Linkedin as well as other social media platforms.
According to Superdata, it is more than just an alternative to printed cards, it is also a unique branding, marketing and sales tool. Customized to the requirements of its customers, it will be available in English, Arabic, Turkish, French and Spanish. Listing the many advantages, a presentation by Ms. Al Haqbani pointed how customers in Bahrain will now able to expose their offerings to existing and potential customers in a far more professional, instant and targeted manner.
