High-Level Bahrain-India Talks Focus on Boosting Legal, Judicial, Investment Ties
Manama: The Council for International Dispute Resolution of the Kingdom of Bahrain held a high-level meeting in New Delhi aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in legal, judicial and investment-related fields.

Professor Marike Patrani Paulsson, Secretary-General of the Council, led the Bahraini delegation in talks with senior Indian officials. The Indian side was headed by H.E. Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Minister of Law and Justice and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Pinky Anand, Former Additional Solicitor General of India and Judge at the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC), along with Mr. Mahdi Jaafar from the Embassy of Bahrain in New Delhi.

Discussions centred on expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas such as investment promotion, judicial coordination, and the development of modern frameworks for resolving international disputes.

Both sides examined opportunities to facilitate cross-border investments, enhance institutional and legal ties, and build on momentum generated by the official launch of the Bahrain International Commercial Court (BICC) in November 2025.
