Bahrain to highlight major advancements in agriculture and animal production at Mara’ee 2025

Mara’ee 2025 constitutes an important platform to showcase Bahrain’s efforts in developing the agricultural and animal production sectors.
It also highlights the Kingdom’s ambition to strengthen its position as a regional centre for innovation and investment in this vital sector.
This was emphasised by His Excellency Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities and Agriculture, as he invited the public to visit the Bahrain International Agricultural and Animal Production Exhibition (Mara’ee 2025) and benefit from the diverse activities it offers over the five days.
Royal patronage
The event is held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from December 9 to 13.
H.E. Al Mubarak reviewed the technical and logistical preparations for the upcoming edition of the Mara’ee 2025.
He affirmed that this edition will reflect Bahrain’s growing focus on enhancing food security and developing the agricultural and animal production environment in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Minister added that the exhibition this year will feature a rich and integrated programme suitable for all age groups.
Features
Mara’ee 2025 will include an animal exhibition featuring horses, camels, livestock and birds, alongside the agricultural exhibition with its various sections, providing visitors with a comprehensive experience linking agricultural production and local heritage, and highlighting the biodiversity of the Kingdom.
It will also feature a dedicated arts and culture corner reflecting national interest in agricultural and animal production, as well as entertainment sections, offering visitors a complete family experience combining education, knowledge and enjoyment.
H.E. Al Mubarak emphasised that this year’s exhibition has expanded in both the number and area of exhibitors through local and international participation, reflecting its ongoing development.
