Bahrain Continues 3D Marine Survey; Access Restricted in Fasht Al-Jarim
Manama: The Ministry of Interior has announced that the Coast Guard will continue marine survey operations in the Fasht Al-Jarim area as part of the ongoing 3D marine survey project being carried out by Bapco Energies within Bahrain’s territorial waters. The work is scheduled to run from December 8, 2025 to January 31, 2026. A
ccording to the Coast Guard Command, access to the designated work zone marked in yellow on the official map is strictly prohibited during the survey period. The area marked in red requires sea users to adhere fully to previously issued instructions and safety guidelines. These guidelines include avoiding restricted survey zones, following safe and approved sailing routes, refraining from maritime activities near the operational area and complying with directions issued by maritime patrol units.
The Coast Guard urged all sea users to exercise caution and strictly follow the instructions throughout the survey period to ensure their safety and support the smooth execution of the national project.
