The Indian Community Welfare Association (ICRF Bahrain) successfully hosted the 17th ‘Faber Castell Spectra’ painting competition, at the Indian School, Isa Town. As Bahrain’s largest art event for students, this year’s competition saw an overwhelming participation of nearly 3,000 children from around 30 schools, alongside an adult category.
ICRF Chairman Adv. V K Thomas inaugurated the finale. The results were announced the same evening, with winners being honored at a ceremony attended by several dignitaries, including Madhu Ramankutty, CEO of State Bank of India, Bahrain. Top winners across the five categories received trophies and certificates. All participants received drawing materials courtesy of Faber Castell, who has supported the event since 2009. The winning artwork will be featured in the 2025 ICRF wall and desktop calendars, continuing the event's mission to foster young artistic talent.
