HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets Legislative Leaders
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Gudaibiya Palace with HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, along with their deputies and members of the Public Utilities and Environment Committees.
Employment Initiatives: HRH commended employers for supporting the jobs initiative targeting over 9,000 job seekers, with more than 3,600 citizens already hired.
Commitment to Citizens and Development: His Royal Highness reaffirmed that serving citizens remains a core priority of Bahrain’s development under His Majesty the King, noting that Team Bahrain’s achievements drive continued progress.
Enhancing Government Services: HRH underscored the push to improve government services and efficiency, noting the vital role of closer cooperation between the Legislative and Executive branches.
Advancing the Legislative Framework: His Royal Highness underscored the need to continue modernising Bahrain’s legislative framework to meet the aspirations of its citizens.
GCC and Regional Collaboration: HRH underscored the impact of the 46th GCC Summit on enhancing regional cooperation and said the latest Bahraini-Saudi agreements further reinforce the strategic partnership.
Bahrain as a Regional Events Hub: HRH commended Bahrain’s growing role as a hub for major events and expressed appreciation to everyone who supported the recent activities.
The meeting was also attended by HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and several senior officials.
