Sixth edition of Arabian Mechanical Electrical Plumbing opened
Manama : The 6th edition of the Arabian MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) Exhibition opened yesterday in Bahrain.
Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning Essam Khalaf inaugurated the 2017 edition at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Centre (BIECC).
The minister toured the expo which attracted more than 100 exhibitors from Bahrain, the Arab region and the world, showcasing the next generation technologies in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, insulation, refrigeration, automation, water and energy.
The minister highlighted the importance of the exhibition, which displays renewable energy products that reduce consumption and environmental pollution, particularly the solar panels which are used to generate electricity.
He emphasized Bahrain’s strides in the sector of construction and urbanization and infrastructure, which contributes to attracting investors in Bahrain owing to its strategic location, deregulated economy and streamlined measures.
