Global HSE meet from April 18-20

Manama Global experts in the field of health, safety and environment (HSE) will convene at the Gulf Hotel to discuss the developments and challenges in HSE from April 18 to 20, the organisers said at a press conference here yesterday.

Entitled ‘Global HSE 2017’, the conference will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Oil.

The event will be jointly hosted by Bahrain National Gas Company (Banagas) and BAPCO under the aegis of National Oil and Gas Authority Bahrain.  The event is governed by a steering committee which is chaired by Shaikh Mohamed Bin Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Chief Executive of Banagas and Co Chaired by Hafedh Al Qassab General Manager - Refining at BAPCO. 

‘Global HSE 2017’ is endorsed and supported by more than 25 global pioneer associations and societies like National Safety Council, Bahrain Supreme Council for Environment, Bahrain Society of Engineers, United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), The Gulf Downstream Association (GDA), The Gulf Petrochemical and Chemical Association (GPCA), ASSE, NEBOSH, Energy Institute, British Safety Council, RoSPA, JOSH and many others. It has also received overwhelming support from various major companies in the region like ADNOC, ALBA, BAPCO, BANAGAS, Bahrain Steel, ENOC, GPIC, Gulf Air, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, TAMKEEN, MAA’DEN and many others. The event will witness over 8 high level keynote speeches, Executive Plenary Panels, several panel discussions and over 48 targeted technical paper presentations. The conference will discuss topics on HSE management systems, enterprise risk management, HSE best practices, occupational health, future of HSE along with many other significant topics relevant to current times.
