Indian Rising Stars down Kansara
Manama : Indian Rising Stars defeated Kansara’11’ by 17 runs in a Group C match of the Indian Club Seven-a- Side Open Softball Cricket Tournament 2016 at its premisesin Gudaibiya.
Batting first, Indian Rising Stars made 59 for three in its six overs thanks to an unbeaten knock by Arun (29).
In reply, Kansara ‘11’ were bowled out for 42 thanks largely to a great bowling effort by Dona (four for eight) which included a hat-trick.
Other results:
Group B: Banez Geodis 50-4 (Nidish 23no in 6 overs bt Modern Exchange 28 all out in 5.2 overs by 22 runs. Group C: The Indian Club 56-3 in 6 overs bt Young Stars 41-5 (Shannu 21) in 6 overs by 15 runs.
