Gulf Hotel Bahrain to promote tourism

ManamaThe Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa will once again join hands with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA)  to promote Kingdom’s tourism at the World Travel Market 2016 exhibition in London.

“We are delighted to join venture with the BTEA and look forward to showcase Bahrain’s developments and promote Bahraini hospitality. Through the keen efforts of the BTEA and the private sectors, the Kingdom now holds a key position in the global tourism industry,” said Director of business development and strategies for the Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa Ali Amralla.

The Gulf Hotel Bahrain Convention & Spa will not only showcase its unique facilities, but will also present its new Gulf Spa. Featuring a 3,100 square metre Spa facility, two separate welcoming reception for men and women, individual treatment rooms, hammams, hydro and relaxation pools, experience showers, ice fountains and relaxation rooms.

The Gulf Spa also features a new women’s hair salon by world renowned stylist Juliano Asmar.

This was in line with Gulf Hotels Group’s continuous efforts to provide first-class facilities and ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, comfort and rejuvenation.

The Gulf Hotels Group, in line with its expansion strategy and in support to Bahrain’s growing tourism demands, will showcase its newly opened
four-star properties in the Kingdom including the Asdal Gulf Inn located in Seef business district and the Gulf Residence Amwaj in Amwaj Island. These latest additions will join the Group’s independent properties in addition to the four-star deluxe K Hotel located in Juffair, Bahrain and the Ocean Paradise Resort in Zanzibar.

It has also recently announced the opening of its first office in Shanghai as part of BTEA’s new tourism campaign ‘Ours. Yours’, which aims to further diversify the national economy away from its dependence on oil by developing the tourism sector.

Bahrain’s leading home-grown hotel group is aiming to attract more Chinese tourists by cooperating with China travel agencies and conference organisers, and launching joint marketing initiatives that will highlight the diverse tourist attractions in the Kingdom. The new office will make it easier for Chinese tourists and conference organisers to plan a trip or an event in Bahrain.

The World Travel Market Exhibition is one of the most important international events, in which experts and specialists from travel and tourism will meet from around the world. This exhibition will be an opportunity for travel, trade and tourism partnerships and agreements.
