Works ministry completes phase 2 of Seef sewerage project

Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities & Urban Planning Eng. Asma Murad said the Ministry has completed phase 2 of Seef Sewerage Network Project, Block 436.
According to Murad, the project is part of the Ministry’s initiative to improve sanitary services, provide a healthier environment, encourage investment and provide an efficient infrastructure that also supports economic growth.
Murad stated the project includes extending 15km-long pipes, connecting 236 houses and 14 real estates to the network and constructing 2 lifting stations. The project serves Block 436.
The BD2,890,000 project was awarded to Ahmed Mansoor Al A’Ali.
Phase 2 of the project aims to connect all houses in the area to the network and also implement a storm drainage network in the area.
