Coast Guard Announces Continued 3D Marine Survey Operations in Fasht Al Jarim
The Ministry of Interior has announced the continuation of the 3D marine survey project being carried out by Bapco Energies within Bahrain’s territorial waters. According to the statement, the Coast Guard confirmed that survey operations will continue in the Fasht Al Jarim area from December 8, 2025, until January 31, 2026.
The Coast Guard clarified that, as shown in the attached navigational map, entry into the designated yellow zone is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the project. The red zone, meanwhile, requires all sea-goers to follow previously issued guidelines, including avoiding work sites, adhering to safe navigation routes, refraining from conducting any marine activities near the operational area, and complying with instructions from maritime patrols.
The Coast Guard urged all sailors, fishermen, and sea users to exercise caution and fully comply with safety instructions during the survey period to ensure their safety and the smooth progress of the project.
