Minister Al Zayani Holds Talks with Russian Deputy FM on Peace and Stability

His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today at the ministry headquarters with His Excellency Mr. Sergey Vershinin, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly Russian Federation, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The meeting focused on the strong and growing ties of friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Russian Federation, reflecting the mutual commitment to developing and enhancing bilateral cooperation across various areas of common interest.

The two sides also discussed recent regional and international developments and their implications for regional and global security and stability. They exchanged views on current developments and ongoing efforts to promote peace, security, and stability in the region.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa, Director General of Bilateral Relations; Mr. Hatem Abdulhamid Hatem, Head of the Organizations Sector at the Ministry; Sheikha Al Anoud bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Acting Head of the European Affairs Sector; and His Excellency Mr. Alexey Skosirev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
