McLaren Takes the Crown: HRH Joins Abu Dhabi GP Celebrations
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister attended the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025, where McLaren clinched the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship—marking the team’s first double title win in 27 years. This victory follows McLaren’s earlier success in securing the Constructors’ Championship in Singapore.
HRH affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to advancing its sports sector in line with the far-reaching vision of His Majesty the King. He noted that McLaren’s outstanding achievements on the global motorsports stage further enhance Bahrain’s international standing.
His Royal Highness also extended his best wishes to the United Arab Emirates for continued development and prosperity. He congratulated the organisers at the Yas Marina Circuit and wished them continued success in hosting future Formula 1 races.
