Thai Fest 2025: Great Food, Great Vibes, Even Better Weather

The Thai Festival 2025 came to life at Oasis Mall Juffair’s outdoor car park from December 4 to 6, transforming the space into a vibrant hub of culture, colour, and community. Hosted by the Royal Thai Embassy in Bahrain, the three-day celebration welcomed thousands of visitors eager to immerse themselves in the spirit of Thailand.

The festival was officially inaugurated on December 4 by H.E. the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Bahrain, who opened the event with a ceremonial launch. This was followed by a touching documentary tribute dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, showcasing her lifelong commitment to cultural preservation, traditional craftsmanship, and the safeguarding of Thailand’s artistic heritage.

Throughout the event, visitors enjoyed an array of authentic experiences that brought Thailand’s cherished traditions to Bahrain. One of the biggest highlights was the incredible selection of Thai food stalls, an absolute crowd favourite. Under the cool December sky, attendees loved exploring all their favourite Thai food spots gathered in one place, featuring well-loved names such as Savoey Thai Restaurant, Shada Restaurant, Tom Yum Kung Talay Thai, Fried Thai Spice, Thai Spoon Restaurant & Café, Top Thai Restaurants, and many more. The pleasant weather created the perfect backdrop, allowing visitors to comfortably wander from stall to stall, enjoying the full spectrum of Thai flavours.

Beyond the food, the festival buzzed with traditional dance and music performances, live Muay Thai demonstrations, handcrafted goods by Thai artisans, wellness activities, and a beautifully recreated Loy Krathong experience allowing families to participate in Thailand’s iconic light-floating tradition.

Adding to the excitement, visitors also had the chance to win a flight to Thailand, keeping spirits high and energy buzzing across all three days.
