HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Visits Youth City 2030
Youth City 2030 highlights programmes, partnerships and opportunities for Bahraini youth
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, visited the 15th edition of Youth City 2030, praising its role in providing Bahraini youth with opportunities to learn, train and gain practical experience.
During the visit, HH Shaikh Nasser said the support provided to Bahraini youth by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reflects His Majesty’s belief in young people as leaders of the future and partners in shaping the Kingdom’s development.
He also highlighted the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, describing it as a key pillar in advancing initiatives and programmes that respond to young people’s aspirations and provide quality opportunities for learning, training and professional development.
Organised in collaboration with the Labour Fund “Tamkeen” and the Summer Sports City, the 15th edition of Youth City 2030 offers programmes and initiatives across a range of fields.
HH Shaikh Nasser praised the progress of the latest edition in attracting young people and providing an integrated experience that combines learning, application and practical training. He also commended the quality and diversity of its programmes.
He highlighted the wide range of partnerships supporting Youth City 2030, noting that the integration of programmes, expertise and national and international partnerships has contributed to enhancing the City’s outcomes and its impact on young people.
HH Shaikh Nasser also praised the specialised sports programmes and activities offered by the Summer Sports City, which combine training, practice and competition while supporting the discovery and development of young talent.
He noted that such programmes provide a stimulating environment for young people to strengthen their physical and technical abilities.
