CPISP, CPISPAA hold virtual mentoring event for scholarship candidates

Programme offers guidance on university applications, majors and career paths

The Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program (CPISP), in collaboration with the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Program Alumni Association (CPISPAA), held a virtual mentoring and guidance event for candidates shortlisted for the 2027 scholarship cycle.

The event, part of CPISPAA’s 8th Annual Mentoring Program, supported candidates from the programme’s 28th cohort as they prepare for their academic and professional journeys.

Candidates received guidance on university applications, final-year secondary school preparation, university major selection and career planning.

The programme included sessions on applying to universities abroad and developing alternative university and scholarship options, as well as interactive sessions on standardised test preparation, university application essays and life after school and university.

Students also had one-on-one meetings with mentors for personalised advice on their university and career plans.

A majors and careers fair provided further guidance across fields including computer science, medicine, engineering, business and humanities.

Over the past seven years, CPISPAA’s Mentoring Program has provided more than 2,000 one-on-one advisory meetings, alongside other initiatives supporting Bahraini youth in making informed education and career choices.
