Prime Minister calls for focusing on development

During the current phase, the focus should be on ways to enhance the development process and strengthen its pillars in order to achieve sustainable resources and direct them to grow and withstand the current challenges, said Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Lauding the Kingdom’s outstanding deep-rooted model of co-existence and tolerance, HRH Premier stressed that such values would remain distinctive features of the Bahraini society thanks to the Bahraini people’s awareness and intellectual and cultural maturity. 

While receiving a number of senior State officials here yesterday, Prince Khalifa pointed out that Bahrain boasts numerous cultural and historical features that can attract tourism and consolidate the Bahraini people’s co-existence with the others.

HRH Premier highlighted the importance of communication among the Bahraini citizens, commitment to the one-family spirit and giving top priority to national interests, as the best means to face all kinds of challenges, consolidate the Kingdom’s status, maintain national security and stability and bring about more development and prosperity for the Bahraini people. 

Highlighting the efforts to boost the health sector in the Kingdom through hosting high-profile conferences and upgrading the capabilities of the Bahraini competencies, HRH Premier underlined the Kingdom’s interest in developing the sector. 

“It will be done through providing facilities for establishing private hospitals and health centres so as to broaden options for the citizens and promote Bahrain as a favourable destination for therapeutic tourism,”Prince Khalifa added.
