Indian Embassy in Bahrain Opens Exhibition Honouring Armed Forces
The Embassy of India in Bahrain has inaugurated a photo exhibition showcasing the courage, professionalism and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces in protecting the country across its land, maritime and air frontiers.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Vinod K Jacob in the presence of defence attachés, military personnel from various countries serving with the Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), Indian naval personnel serving in CTF 154, and veterans of the Indian Armed Forces.
Through a collection of photographs, the exhibition offers a visual account of the constant vigilance and service of India’s armed forces, while highlighting the resilience and sacrifices of personnel serving across different operational environments.
The display also features the armed forces’ contributions to humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and international peace and stability efforts, reflecting their role beyond traditional defence responsibilities.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Jacob paid tribute to the valour and dedication of India’s military personnel, highlighting their role in safeguarding India’s sovereignty while contributing to regional security and global peace.
He also highlighted India’s growing participation in the Combined Maritime Forces and its contribution to strengthening maritime security in the region.
The exhibition also reflected the strong defence relations between India, Bahrain and other CMF member nations, built on mutual trust, shared interests and a common commitment to maritime security, regional stability and cooperation.
