Mangroves Key to Sustainability
Bahrain continues to strengthen its efforts to protect ecosystems and promote environmental sustainability, said His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, marking the International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem.
Shaikh Mohammed highlighted Bahrain’s environmental achievements under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, noting that sustainability remains a key pillar of the Kingdom’s development strategy.
He praised the contributions of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa in advancing environmental initiatives, protecting natural resources, and supporting national programmes aimed at preserving biodiversity and strengthening Bahrain’s green development goals.
