Capital Councillor Holds Cooperation Talks with Sarajevo Mayor
Capital Municipal Council member Dr Abdulhasan Hasan Al Dairi met Sarajevo Mayor Samir Avdic during a visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina to discuss strengthening cooperation in municipal affairs, sustainable urban development and food security.
Mayor Avdic welcomed the visit and highlighted Sarajevo's interest in expanding cooperation with Bahrain, while encouraging Gulf investment in sustainable development and food security projects.
Dr Al Dairi reaffirmed Bahrain's commitment to enhancing ties with Bosnia through continued collaboration with the Chamber of Economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, expressing hope for broader cooperation across multiple sectors.
The Sarajevo mayor also said he hopes to visit Bahrain this year or next to meet government officials and private-sector investors. He presented Dr Al Dairi with publications showcasing Sarajevo's future investment opportunities.
