HM King Appoints Two Directors General to Islamic Endowments Affairs Council
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued Decree No. (39) of 2026, appointing two new Directors General at the Islamic Endowments Affairs Council following a proposal by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and Cabinet approval.
Under the decree, Ahmed Khalil Ibrahim Khairi has been appointed Director General of the General Directorate of Sunni Affairs, while Abduljalil Ali Ahmed Al-Haiki has been appointed Director General of the General Directorate of Jaafari Affairs.
The appointments take effect immediately from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
