Bahrain police arrest 31-year-old for sharing content violating public morals
General Directorate of Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security has arrested a 31-year-old Arab national formisusing social media by publishing content deemed contrary to public morals.
The Interior Ministry said legal procedures are under way before the case is referred to the Public Prosecution.
Authorities urged the public to comply with laws and regulations, exercise responsibility when using social media, and refrain from publishing or sharing content that violates the law or harms the reputation of Bahraini society. The ministry stressed that legal action will be taken against anyone found misusing social media platforms to safeguard public order and community values.
