Jordan reaffirms solidarity with Bahrain

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani received a phone call from Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
During the call, Safadi expressed Jordan’s solidarity with Bahrain and strongly condemned recent Iranian attacks that targeted civilian facilities and installations. He reaffirmed Jordan’s support for all measures Bahrain is taking to safeguard its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
For his part, the Bahraini Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Jordan’s supportive stance and stressed the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries. The two sides also reviewed ways to further enhance cooperation and discussed recent regional developments, emphasizing the importance of de-escalation, regional stability, and freedom of navigation.
